Petition Action

Recovery of Scotlands proportion of UK National in the event of a default

Additional Information

If the Scottish Government default on the proportion of UK debt because it cannot have a Sterling currency union with the residual UK, the UK Government could exact payment in lieu by retaining possession of the continental shelf Oil & natural Gas reserves and its associated tax revenues until such times as the debt is serviced, if this period of retention was to run until 2035 it could also compensate the rUK for relocating the RN base at Faslane and its nuclear munitions storage facilty as required by the Scottish Government, to a site elsewhere in the rUK.
I ask that Parliament debate these measures
