Controls on news gathering and rectifying reporting errors.
Newspapers should be more responsible in what they report and the behaviour of "reporters" should become criminal if they block the road or side walk or behave like stalkers. Reporters should be charged if they form a mob or if they are "in the face" of any person.
In the event of false or inaccurate reporting, it should be mandatory that the correction occupies as many lines and be as prominently displayed or broadcast in the same place and same time for exactly as many times as the false or inaccurate information was displayed or broadcast.
Not withstanding, real investigative reporting should be encouraged as opposed to "repetitive hothouse" political and agenda driven drivel.
