Petition Action

Devolve Corporation Tax, VAT and Income Tax to the Scottish Parliament

Additional Information

As part of the new powers promised by the three main party leaders in the week leading up to the Scottish Independence referendum it is the opinion of the author of this petition that the tax raising powers devolved to the Holyrood parliament should include all the major taxes; Income tax, Corporation tax and VAT.

This will ensure that Scotland raises and spends all of her own revenue and is not a burden on tax payers in the rest of the UK while maintaining the union as voted for by the people of Scotland.
