Petition Action

The Campaign for a Yorkshire Parliament

Additional Information

We request that the government creates a 'White Rose Parliament' for Yorkshire with powers commensurate to those held by devolved institutions in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as part of a comprehensive constitutional settlement which will bring democracy and decision-making closer to the people. Yorkshire's size, population and distinct historical identity makes it an ideal unit for devolved institutions.
