Govt. must keep referendum promises to Scotland

Additional Information

The Westminster Govt. and party leaders 'vowed' that in the event of an Independence Referendum 'no' vote that "significant" new powers would be given to Scotland.
The terms 'Devo Max' and 'Federalism' were used to describe these new powers and Govt. should note that a significant portion of the Scottish electorate only voted 'no' as a result of these last-minute promises.
Devo Max implies devolution to the Scottish Parliament of:
- all powers, excepting only defence and foreign affairs
- all taxation - personal, business, energy - and money-raising powers. Scotland will allocate money to Westminster to cover an appropriate share of defence and foreign affairs costs.
- The Scottish Parliament must be made permanent
- all powers devolved must be made permanent
Devo Max must be granted, as promised, according to the timetable and is NOT dependent on any constitutional change elsewhere - otherwise the indyref result must be held null and void, having been won by false promises.
