Petition Action

Remove Permitted Development Rights for all additional telecoms infrastructure.

Petition Details

We request that Government MUST remove permitted development rights for ALL additional telecoms infrastructure, and Companies MUST apply for permission to the Local Planning Authorities on proposed installations.

Additional Information

We believe additional unnecessary telecoms infrastructure is causing unregulated overbuild and is massively scarring for our communities, and are aware of many examples from campaigners.

We consider that there are now additional masts, cabinets, telegraph poles, overground and underground cables in areas where there is pre-existing infrastructure for Gigabyte-Capable FTTP broadband which could be shared.
