Bring in separate inheritance tax legislation for working British farmers
Put in place exemptions for working British farming families to protect them from changes to inheritance tax legislations. If a family is working their land for British farming then their right to pass on their farms to their children should be protected.
To protect British farms and farming families. To secure our food security, maintain good animal husbandry and environmental standards.
British farming families are usually asset rich but money poor. Farming is a way of life, this could be lost for many families who cannot pass on land to their children, who often work the land side by side with their parents, grandparents and even great grandparents.
