Petition Action

Make it illegal to sell fireworks, with the exception of public displays

Petition Details

Make “garden” firework displays illegal. They are dangerous to general public, people are having displays when their gardens back on to busy roads. Pets and some children who are afraid should not be forced to listen to the loud bangs.

Additional Information

I understand people enjoy fireworks but they should be better controlled. Families who don’t want to see or hear them should be able to sit inside their homes with happy and relaxed pets and children without the worry of loud fireworks upsetting/ causing everyone inside to be anxious and stressed.

A properly arranged display should be the only way fireworks are available to watch. That way everyone can enjoy the night how they planned it to be.
