Increase maritime enforcement to intercept and return boats to France.
We call for the Government to strengthen maritime border enforcement to intercept small boats attempting to reach the UK. We think this policy should ensure that intercepted individuals are returned to France, with collaboration improved to effectively address ongoing migration challenges.
We believe strengthening maritime enforcement is vital for safeguarding the UK’s borders and deterring dangerous crossings. We think that by intercepting and returning boats to France, we can disrupt human smuggling networks and reduce risks associated with perilous sea journeys. We think this approach emphasizes a clear stance on immigration policy while enhancing national security.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
