Petition to restrict setting off fireworks in rural areas.
We would like parliament to discuss the impact on farm animals and wildlife in rural areas of the regular setting off of fireworks for an extended period in october and November each year.
Setting off fireworks in close proximity to farm animals and wildlife causes extreme distress, we think the use of fireworks near farm animals should be regulated and restricted to the 5th of November or other specified celebrations.
