Petition Action

Ban fireworks unless it is a planned public display or introduce silent ones

Petition Details

For the sake of animals ban personal use of fireworks. How many pets go missing around Halloween or bonfire night? How many pets need to be medicated for those days? Only have legal sale of fireworks to those who hold a license for use in public displays only. Or introduce silent fireworks only.

Additional Information

For the sake of animals and pets mostly. There are so many pets run away or get injured during Halloween and bonfire night. There are also so many pets who need to be medicated to get through those nights. The irresponsible sale and use of fireworks should be banned. Ensuring all animals are safe. If a public firework display is planned this is different as there won't be fireworks and noises coming from all directions.
