Lower Electricity prices across the UK.
The Uk currently has the highest cost of electricity of any country across the globe by a landslide. The rise in the cost of living is directly impacting the working class.
Reducing the cost of energy while striving to achieve Net Zero by 2030 is feasible through enhanced research efforts. However, considering the majority of properties in the UK are quite old and do not align with Net Zero standards, the adoption of better alternatives is imperative. Older properties in the UK often lack modern insulation and energy-efficient systems, leading to higher energy consumption and costs. The measures suggested by the government isn't working.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about electricity prices, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like the Government or Parliament to take. Petitions need to call for a clear action from the UK Government or Parliament.
Additionally, the organisation responsible for regulating UK electricity prices is Ofgem. You can find out more here: www.ofgem.gov.uk/our-role-and-responsibilities.
You could contact your local MP to raise your concerns about this issue.
