Giving Deaf children a fair chance
We call on the local council to reserve the cuts, protect the services for Deaf children and ensure that all deaf children have a fair chance to achieve. Deaf children are among the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the UK today. Deafness is not a learning disability, evidence show that with the right support deaf children can achieve as well as others. specialist support services including Overland's Day Care Center in Bow are a vital lifeline for deaf children and their families.Reducing the support for deaf children will undermine their achievement and confidence. This is unfair and Unexceptable. We the undersigned call on the local authority to reserve the cuts and ensure that all the deaf children in Tower hamlets have a fair chance to achieve.
