Vote against the Assisted Dying Bill
I would like MPs to vote against the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. I believe it sets a dangerous precedent, devaluing life based on contribution, not inherent worth. I think it undermines our core principles & puts doctors in a conflicted position, challenging their oath to protect life.
We urge the UK Government to reject the Assisted Dying Bill and instead prioritize initiatives that improve palliative care, mental health support, and resources for those experiencing end-of-life challenges. These alternatives could ensure dignity and support. I believe that relying on implementing assisted dying instead places vulnerable people at risk and does not uphold our societal commitment to valuing life.
If you want to sign this petition (as opposed to merely discuss it), you need to do that on the government's e-Petitions website.
