Influence NHS Lothian to withdraw it's intention to close Veterans First Point.
The Scottish Government has provided it's share of the funding required to support psychological services for veterans in Lothian. The NHS Lothian Board has decided to withdraw their funding forcing the service to close, this needs to change and NHS Lothian should fund the services to veterans.
The NHS Board has not taken into account the impact that this will have on veterans or services. They state that veterans will be seen by other services, when these are also being reduced leading to veterans having to waits of over 52 weeks for input which is not in accordance with the Covenant or Armed Forces act.
