We want a referendum on 7 changes to our voting system

Petition Details

We want a referendum on 7 changes to our voting system to maximise turnout and strengthen faith in our voting system. People should be allowed to say yes or no to the following.

Additional Information

1) Voting should be over 2 weeks to maximise voter turnout.

2) Only registered citizens should be allowed to vote.

3) Abolition of postal voting - I believe it's grossly open to abuse

4) Abolition of electronic voting - I believe it's grossly open to abuse.

5) Like some other countries it must be mandatory to vote & failure to vote should carry a fine.

6) Polling stations should be open 24 hours to maximise turnout.

7) Like in India once you have voted they should put an indelible mark on your finger which lasts two weeks so you can't vote more than once
