Push for restrictions on the movement within the EU of people convicted of serious crimes such as murder, rape, assault, armed robbery
In view of the probable murder of Alice Gross, possibly carried out by a Latvian national with a previous murder conviction, I would like the government to push the EU to require national governments to restrict the movement of such people. They should not have the right to move freely within the EU. If their country's justice system sees fit to release murderers after short custodial sentences, that country should take responsibility for policing them for the rest of their life.
