Petition Action

stop making british motorists pay twice for road tax

Additional Information

With the withdrawal of paper tax discs from October 1st, and the changing of the rules, if someone sells a car at the start of the month he/she looses the tax refund for that month but the buyer of the vehicle must tax it before even taking the car home! This means that the government is getting twice the tax and the motorist is loosing out once again!
