Safety and Convenience for the Elderly and Visually Impaired
People like me who are visually impaired and retired have great difficulty when using public transport where the bus stops are 'request bus stops' and with the weather being what it is, it would be helpful if small shelters could be put in place by the bus stop.
Secondly, it would also be a great help to elderly, mothers with prams and the visually impaired if roads had zebra crossings near to bus stops, to allow for safer and more visible means of crossing to the desired bus stop/side of the street.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
Kind Regards
Gyan Mehta

Petitions should have a clear statement of what action the petitioner wishes the Government to take. Perhaps this petition could be rephrased to make that clearer.
