Defeat the evil and barbaric Islamic State (ISIS) using any necessary means.
Following the brutal murders of Britons Alan Henning and David Haines, the Government has committed to bringing their killers to justice.
We, the undersigned, do not consider that the current military operation of air strikes in Iraq is sufficient to defeat this evil. The British military operation should include Syria and any other area in which IS has a presence. Other strategies, including sending ground troops, should also be urgently reconsidered to end what commentators have described as a "genocide".
