Petition Action

Anti-social behaviour at A&E

Additional Information

If a person is, in the opinion of the doctor at the time, under the influence of alcohol and aggressive, he/she will be asked to take a breathalyser test with the same limit as for motoring.
If he/she fails the test ALL treatment must be billed to the patient at going rates.
Refusal of breath test? bill is sent.

This would save the NHS billions, bring in an income and perhaps reduce aggressive drunken behaviour?
