Set up the Department of Government Efficiency to cut beauracracy and waste.
The UK could benefit from establishing a Department of Government Efficiency, similar to idea of the incoming American administration to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance the delivery of public services.
The Department of Government Efficiency in the UK should also make its savings transparent, clearly showing where funds are being saved and how they are reinvested. This transparency would build public trust, ensure accountability, and demonstrate the department’s value to taxpayers, setting a standard for openness across government operations.
