Petition Action

Stop immigrants with a criminal record involving a serious crime from entering the country

Additional Information

Whilst immigration from within Europe is currently a right for all Europeans, this right should not be extended to those with a criminal record which includes a serious crime.

Arnis Zalkalns was allowed to enter the UK from Latvia in 2007, despite having served seven years in prison in his native country for bludgeoning and stabbing his wife Rudite to death.

He is now been found dead after killing 14 year old Alice Gross in West London. Alice would still be alive today if this petition was enacted as law.
