Petition Action

New referendum for changing the voting system to proportionate representation.

Petition Details

Change our unfair and three party dominated electoral method of voting.
Give minority parties and independent candidates a better chance of winning seats in Parliament and lessen the dominance of the big three parties, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats.

Additional Information

Our current system of voting does not actually represent what the voters want.
Parties do not gain a fair representation of the votes in Parliament.
The winning party can get in with as little as 43% of the votes and MP's can get in with only 35%.
Our current system does not encourage people voting as many believe their candidate have little chance of being elected.
