Stop assessing student loans as income for Universal Credit

Petition Details

I want the government to stop student maintenance loans being treated as income for Universal Credit assessments.

Additional Information

I believe students are being impacted by their maintenance loans being treated as income when applying for Universal Credit. They are loans and as such are meant to be paid back after an agreed term, so I believe it is unfair they are treated as income.
