Petition Action

Require all non-essential businesses to close on Christmas and Boxing Day

Petition Details

I call on the Government to require all non-essential businesses, including the hospitality sector, to close on Christmas and Boxing Day so staff can spend time together with their families during the holidays.

Additional Information

I work in the hospitality sector and because I have children, I'm forced to work with flexibility on days and so are many of my colleagues. I believe nobody wants to work on Christmas day and we love our job, but would like to be able to spend time with our family over the Christmas period.
