Make all gifts given to MPs subject to Benefits in Kind rules.
Rules around gifts given to current and former MPs should be updated to ensure that they fall under the same Benefits in Kind rules as those applied to any workplace perk.
Recent revelations of high profile Members of Parliament receiving large value gifts for free has shone a light on inequality through power.
They have enormously lowered trust in the Government as these gifts appear on the outsider to be bribes.
Furthermore, if the common working man or woman were to receive such perks through employment, they would be liable to pay applicable Benefits in Kind tax contributions.
