Allow the time spent in the UK by Ukrainian refugees to count towards settlement
I think it is unfair that the Ukrainian people displaced by the Russian invasion of Ukraine have started a new life with absolutely nothing and now being stripped of the opportunity to be a resident of the UK.
I think that their time spent in the UK should count towards settlement in the UK.
I think it is unfair that the Ukrainians have spent so much time in this country working, contributing to our economy and even integrating into society and wanting to identify as British.
To have the time they have spent here to count towards residency invalidated should not be allowed.
Please have some humanity.
