MP Expenses Card
Following Iain Duncan Smith's proposed Pre-Paid Benefits Card, I would like to suggest a similar system for MP's expenses.
As "We're all in this together", and keen to prevent spending on "non-essential" goods, such as duck houses, jacuzzis, and £39 breakfasts, this would seem the perfect way to regain some public trust, and allay any fears that this is little more than a demonising, compassionless, policy, part of an ongoing ideology of setting the poor against the even poorer.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for Parliament and not for Government.
