Discontinuation of JobCentre Plus' involvement with benefits.
To discontinue JobCentre Plus' involvement with benefits.
To save hundreds of millions of pounds by enabling The Department For Work And Pensions deal with benefits directly with benefit claimants.
To stop spending hundreds of millions of pounds on JobCentre Plus resources just to save a few million through sanctioning claimants benefits, example : ending benefit claims when the claimant hasn't proved they have done enough to find work.
To enable JobCentre Plus to continue to provide the general public with Job Vacancies only.
Move JobCentre to smaller premises and to cut staff numbers.
To Enable The Department For Work And Pensions to take up the same roll which Jobcentre Plus has undertaken over the past three decades.
There are the same number of people unemployed in the UK now as there were three decades ago. JobCentre Plus does not create jobs and therefore cannot reduce the number of unemployed people in the UK.
