Allow the names of Mp's who are fidling their expenses to be public
On the 29th september the Daily Mail published an article about the Independent parliamentary standards authority. The IPSA want to keep the names of Mp's who fiddle their expenses secret, to prevent reputal damage.
Also the IPSA want to ban the public from hearings.
This creates a number of issues. Who votes for the Mp's? The general public. OUR Mp's are elected by the public to make them accountable to us.
We the undersigned demand that the names of Mp's whom fiddle their expenses will remain public, as we have a right to know. We also demand you drop plans to ban the public from hearings.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for IPSA not for government
