Ban vaping in enclosed workplaces, public buildings and on public transport
To prohibit vaping by law in enclosed workplaces, public buildings and on public transport. Children on public transport and in public places are being exposed to vaping, despite not consenting to it.
Since 1 October 2015, the sale of nicotine vaping products to under-18s in England and Wales has been prohibited. It is also an offence, subject to a fixed penalty, for an adult to purchase nicotine vaping products for someone under the age of 18. Allowing the normalization of vaping in public places goes counter to the the government policy in reducing the exposure of vaping to children and the general public.
