Replace the Chancellor of the Exchequer & deliver a new budget immediately
The economy faces a “black hole” far beyond the £22 billion—our national debt exceeds £2 trillion. The budget must prioritise job creation and business innovation, not hinder growth. It needs a competent Chancellor to rewrite to address these challenges effectively.
The recent budget is widely regarded as one of the worst in the country’s history, with devastating impacts on businesses, employers, employees, and farmers. Retail spending is down, redundancies are rising, and the budget is unsustainable. For a G7 nation, this signals trouble—let’s not forget the Winter Fuel Payments debacle!
