Secondary School First Destination
Secondary schools should publish the details of the first destinations of their school leavers. If this is at the end of year 11 it could contain details such as numbers carrying on into 6th form, college, full time work or training. If it is at the end of year 13 it could contain details of University and course, full time work, college, training or unemployment.
This could give more accurate and tangible details to parents about performance of secondary schools in regard to preparing the pupils for their future alongside existing exam grade data.
