Keep current payment for hosting under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme

From April 2025 the host payment under The Homes for Ukraine Scheme is due to be reduced from £500 per month to £350. It is currently £500 per month if you have hosted your guest(s) for more than 12 months and I want this to remain at £500.

Additional Information

It has been announced that there will be a reduction in the thank you payment to host families from £500 per month to £350.

We are incensed that this payment is being targeted and think that it could make some vulnerable people homeless currently housed under this scheme. We think the cost to house these refugees will amount to a much larger cost than the missing £150.
