ITT/QTS skills test - Remove the limit on the number of re-sits
Passionate and persistent teachers are hard to find and by having a limit on the number of times a person can take the skills tests, reduces this number further
We don't educate our children with the rule 'if you fail, you're a failure' which is what you are branding our potential teachers.
Those who are resilient enough to fail the skill tests and yet still want to try, in my eyes are the teachers we need. We wouldn't expect a member of staff to give up on our children - why are we doing it to them?
