Make it illegal for a country to leave the United Kingdom

Additional Information

Since the Scottish referendum it has been made clear to us how devastating it would be for all nations involved if Scotland had voted to leave the United Kingdom.

After the Civil way in the United States the Government their made it illegal for a state to secede from the Union. I petition that this Government should also recognise that we are stronger together and introduce similar measures to ensure we remain this way.
