Petition Action

Require schools to teach pupils about physical & emotional abuse

Petition Details

I would like all children from an early age to be educated in schools about what is and what isn’t acceptable from their care givers. This would be a delicate area of education which would need to be addressed sensitively to not traumatise children.

Additional Information

I believe that if children had more knowledge about physical and emotional abuse and confidence in their schools, then they may be more likely to reach out before its too late. Story books could be introduced for the younger children and case studies for those who are older.

I believe that if children know how to seek help it might help take the pressure off social services.
