Stop unnecessary Motorway Closures

Complete closure of sections of Motorway overnight is unnecessary and harmful to the cost of living.
There should be no reason to completely close sections of motorway unless it is to demolish, replace or install a bridge over all 3 lanes.
At least one lane should be kept open at all times, even if that is just the hard shoulder to enable traffic flow, rather than lengthy diversions.
These diversions cost fuel, time and wear and tear to vehicles, all of which, (in the case of delivery vehicles) is then passed on the general public.
Health and Safety gone mad.
