Ban political donations from non-British citizens
Enact legislation to ban political donations from non-British citizens. Ensure strict verification processes for compliance and severe penalties for breaches, safeguarding UK democracy from foreign interference and restoring public trust.
To protect UK democracy from foreign interference, we must ensure political parties are funded only by British citizens. Allowing donations from non-citizens risks compromising national sovereignty, undermining transparency, and reducing public trust in our elections. A ban will safeguard fairness, ensure funding reflects the electorate's will, and maintain confidence in our democratic process.
