Loosing Barnsdale Forest to wind turnbines
Barnsdale Forest is a historical forest used by Robin Hood and more recently used in filming Russell Crowe's movie Robin.
According to the Daily Express article by Mark Branagan dated 19 October 2014, there are plans to damage the forest by placing 2 - 400 ft wind turbines in the forest.
Wind turbines create noise, kill wild life, are costly, and require a secondary source of energy when the wind is not sufficient.
It is our belief the history, age, and beauty of the forest outweighs the need for the turbines. We therefore ask that building the turbines are halted with immediate effect.
