Restrict voting rights to British citizens who are long-term residents

Petition Details

I would like the Government to restrict voting rights to eligible British citizens who have resided in the UK for a minimum of ten years.

Additional Information

I believe people should have spent time living in the UK long-term before they are granted voting rights. I think that only people who have lived in the UK for a long time can fully understand the culture and politics.
