Stop a Waste Transfer Station being built in the Centre of Bacup.
Prevent the construction of a waste transfer station inside the town of Bacup, East Lancashire.
The proposed Waste Transfer Station is to be built in close proximity to residential areas, supermarkets and local businesses.
The impact upon the town's infrastructure will be devastating.
It will create noise pollution, unpleasant odours, additional traffic from large vehicles and litter.
The station is to be built very close to two large supermarkets and the river irwell. There is a risk of cross transmission from rats, vermin and other pathogens.
