A Parliamentary Inquiry into People Imprisoned Over Social Media
I would like the government to debate the possibility of a Parliamentary inquiry into people imprisoned over social media posts
There is a possibility that people were wrongfully imprisoned for their social media posts due to the civil unrest in the United Kingdom

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about wrongful imprisonment are a matter for the courts, not the UK Government or Parliament.
Additionally, it’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what changes you would like the Government or Parliament to make.
