Place a limit on the brightness of vehicle low beams
Limit the brightness allowed for car headlight low beams in the UK to create safer roads at night for all drivers
An RAC survey stated more than 80% of UK drivers feel affected by headlight glare and believed the problem was getting worse. The poll also indicated 89% thought some car headlights were too bright. At risk of accidents and dangerous driving, mandatory alteration and limits are needed to promote safer roads for the public.
