Refuse to pay EU extra £1.7bn
Britain should refuse to pay the extra £1.7bn demanded by the EU due to relatively strong economic growth. To penalise a country for taking tough action to improve its ecomony shows a fundamental anti-entrepreneurial mindset of the EU. Other countries, such as France, who have taken little action to address the problems within their economy are set to receive a rebate. Refuse to pay.
