EU Budget Additional UK Charge
The UK government should refuse to pay the additional £1.7bn demanded by the EU.
In the face of a budget deficit ahead of EU requirements and continuing need for restraint in government spending at home, this additional contribution is unreasonable and an unfair retrospective tax on the UK government's relative success in delivering recovery and growth to the UK economy.
