Petition Action

Reinstate Pedestrian Railings on Junction of St Dunstan's Street and North Lane in Canterbury, Kent

Additional Information

The railings along the pedestrian path at the junction/roundabout of St Dunstan's Street and North Lane in Canterbury, Kent were removed but should be reinstated before an accident occurs and somebody gets seriously hurt or worse.

There is a pedestrian crossing less than 20 steps away but pedestrians still choose to cross the road on the roundabout stepping into moving traffic.

The railings need to be reinstated as I have witnessed on a daily basis the pedestrians stepping between cars with no warning and without using the pedestrian crossing which is dangerous and in turn angering the drivers of vehicles.
