A public inquiry into the grooming gangs known to be operating in the UK.
A dedicated public enquiry into the activities and, seemingly, the protection of grooming gangs throughout the UK. The previous non targeted inquiry failed to investigate the UK as a whole.
Because the victims to date have not been given adequate access to justice or compensation having been historically let down. And for the protection of all vulnerable children and young adults.
The inquiry should have the power to seize documents, compel witnesses to appear and answer questions, and a full historic negligence component is required.
