Petition Action

Repeal the Occupiers Liability Act 1984

Petition Details

To repeal the Occupiers Liability Act 1984 so that persons entering into your property unlawfully cannot hold the occupier liable for injury if they do indeed injure themselves or others whilst committing criminal activity.

Additional Information

Because we think the law is currently biased toward the criminal, allowing them 'free reign' in doing as they wish. We think the law basically sends the message to any property owner that they should welcome those to trespass on their property and commit any crime they feel like without fear of any injury caused by their own wrongdoing.
